Filesystem

Saves all artifacts to data/output/. No database required.

Database

Persists in MongoDB. Choose what to keep below.

Both

Writes to filesystem and database. Reads prefer filesystem.

Tax Year*

Required. We try to pull this from the filename; type it in if not.

Taxpayer label (optional)

Used as the folder name on disk. Leave blank to auto-number.

Keep original extracted (red) data

Filesystem mode always saves all intermediates. This toggle only matters for Database / Both.
